Is my IDP valid in Japan?▼
Japan is a signatory to the 1949 Geneva Convention but does NOT accept standard online international translation documents. Foreign drivers usually need a certified translation by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF). Standard IDPs are generally not accepted in Japan, China, or South Korea.
